Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who is more than just “handy.” The right person should be dependable, professional, and comfortable working in occupied homes where trust matters.

A strong candidate will be someone who:

  • Has real hands-on experience with home repair, maintenance, remodeling, construction, or related trades

  • Takes pride in clean, careful, high-quality work

  • Can communicate professionally with clients and coworkers

  • Shows up on time and follows through

  • Can work safely and responsibly

  • Is willing to document work with photos and clear notes

  • Can solve problems without creating new ones

  • Is honest about what they can and cannot do

  • Is comfortable working on a variety of tasks rather than one narrow specialty

  • Understands that the customer experience matters as much as the finished repair

Minimum Expectations

Applicants should be able to:

  • Pass a background check if required

  • Maintain a clean, professional appearance appropriate for working in clients’ homes

  • Communicate clearly by phone, text, or job management software

  • Follow written and verbal instructions

  • Use basic hand and power tools safely

  • Lift and carry common construction materials as needed

  • Work from ladders when appropriate and safe

  • Follow company safety expectations, including proper PPE

  • Respect client property and leave work areas clean

  • Arrive to client homes free from smoke, strong odors, or anything else that could negatively affect the customer experience

Company vehicles and job sites are smoke-free.

Helpful Skills

You do not need to be an expert in everything, but experience in several of these areas is helpful:

  • Finish carpentry

  • Framing and general construction

  • Drywall repair and texture matching

  • Painting and staining

  • Door installation and adjustment

  • Cabinet and shelving installation

  • Basic plumbing fixture replacement

  • Basic electrical fixture replacement where legally allowed

  • Flooring repairs

  • Exterior repairs

  • Caulking and sealing

  • Troubleshooting household maintenance issues

The more independently you can complete quality work, the more valuable you will be to the team.

What Makes This Opportunity Different

This is a growing company with room for the right person to grow with it. We are building a reputation for dependable, high-quality service—not bargain-basement handyman work.

You will not be expected to cut corners or hide poor workmanship. You will be expected to communicate, work carefully, and help protect the company’s reputation.

For the right technician, this position may grow into a lead technician or site-supervisor role as the company expands.

Our Standards

We are invited into people’s homes, which means trust is essential. Our technicians are expected to represent the company well at all times.

That means:

  • Be respectful

  • Be honest

  • Be careful

  • Be clean

  • Be safe

  • Be professional

  • Do quality work

  • Communicate early when something changes

We would rather explain a realistic timeline than promise something we cannot deliver. We would rather do the job correctly than race through it and hope no one notices.

Tools and Transportation

Applicants with their own reliable vehicle, tools, and trade experience are especially valuable. However, we are willing to discuss the right arrangement for the right person depending on experience, reliability, and role.

Because we work across Northern Utah, reliable transportation is important.
