👨🏫 Jim – Founder, Owner & Tech-Minded Problem Solver
I’m Jim, the founder and owner of Northern Utah Handyman Services (NUHS). During the school day, I teach engineering, robotics, and technology at Box Elder High School—helping students program and operate industrial robots, solve problems, and usually not set things on fire. By nights, weekends, and summers, I apply that same precision and problem-solving mindset to homes and businesses around Brigham City and the surrounding area.
NUHS started as a small side hustle built around my love for building, fixing, and figuring things out. Over time, it’s grown into something more: a trusted local service built on honesty, quality, and a genuine care for the people we help.
Whether I’m troubleshooting a smart home device or installing a new light fixture, I treat every job with the same attention to detail I give my classroom projects. If I can guide students through building autonomous vehicles, I can definitely help you get that door to close properly.
👷♂️ Bruce – The Veteran Craftsman
Bruce has spent more than 40 years in the construction world—he’s a journeyman painter, a concrete finishing expert, and the kind of guy who can walk into a room, spot five things that need fixing, and already have a plan to fix them.
This is his full-time gig, and it shows. From full interior paint jobs to tricky concrete repairs, Bruce knows how to do it right—and how to make it look right. People trust him not just because of his experience, but because he treats every project like it’s happening in his own home.
Also, if you catch him in a red shirt with his white, winter beard, don’t be surprised if your kids ask him for presents. He gets the Santa thing a lot.
